get your protein…pumpkin style!
we love autumn at tease….and this fall, tease studio manager jill is excited to bring you one of her favorite shake recipes – pumpkin protein shake!
the recipe ::
blend together the following & sip as you skip through the fall leaves your way to healthy. yum:
1 cup of your preference of milk (jill uses lactose-free milk)
4 large ice cubes
1.5 scoops of protein powder (she is in LOVE with muscle milk light cookies ‘n creme by cytosport)
1/4 cup canned pumpkin (play with this to see how much pumpkin flavor you’d like)
1 tblsp. peanut butter (she prefers by crunchy for the texture)
1 scoop chia seeds (she swears by these for her knees)
a couple sprinkles of cinnamon
1/4 tsp. almond syrup
1/4 cup oatmeal (it thickens the shake if you like)
